Instinct pricing: what we know

What is known, what is not. · Last checked: 19 October 2026

Today: free, while invite-only

Founder Noah Shinn has said Instinct is free for invite-only users, and there is no subscription fee at the moment. There is also no app to buy.

What the terms say

An independent teardown that read the terms on 12 October 2026 found no price published on the homepage or in section 4 of the terms ("Paid services", last revised 26 August 2026). The terms do say:

  • Paid services may be billed in US dollars.
  • Fees can change.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

So: a price is coming eventually, the shape of it is not public yet.

The costs people forget

Even free, Instinct acts with your money when you connect a card: bookings, orders and tickets cost what they cost. Reported user mistakes so far have been real-world ones - a flight cancelled too early (over $200 lost), a reservation with a $200 cancellation fee made without approval. Set budgets in plain words ("ask me before anything over $50") and keep its approval cards on.
