Muse's Japan debut shows Meta's first international agent bundle
Meta launched Muse in Japan on 23 October, its first market outside North America, pairing a free basic tier with paid plans, local connectors and partner integrations.
What happenedImpress Watch reported at 10:23 am JST that Muse is available in Japan through iOS, Android and the web, with a free basic tier and paid Meta subscription plans from ¥2,799 a month. Kyodo reported the same day that Japan is Muse's first market outside North America.
Why it mattersThe launch shows the bundle Meta may use elsewhere: local connectors, paid usage tiers, approval gates and partner services inside one conversation. The Japan report names Mercari, Money Forward ME and Ticket Pia as local integrations in progress, while Klook confirms a travel-booking integration.
Evidence limitsThe checked sources do not announce Malaysia availability or a wider rollout timetable. Nikkei's interview says Muse will stay ad-free and use subscriptions rather than advertising, but it does not settle which Japan partners will work elsewhere.
